As an obstetrician Dr Christine Thevathasan looks forward to caring for you and your baby. Her general philosophy is to let pregnancy, labour and delivery take its natural course, but to be watchful and intervene if things are not going as expected. Christine is very excited to be a part of The Cradle, which provides a holistic, team - based approach, maximizing the safe patient experience. See website.

As a gynaecologist, she practices in most areas, with a particular interest in the management of period problems, operative procedures , especially for the management of prolapse as well as for period problems, and colposcopies (for the management of abnormal pap smears).

As a doctor, Christine Thevathasan aims to listen to your problems and concerns, allow time for your visits, and give you the best medical care. She values your time and tries not to keep you waiting, though she hopes you will understand that in medicine, delays sometimes happen unavoidably.
